Happy Memorial Day

This memorial day weekend was much needed and much appreciated. Uncle Ron, Auntie Steph, Aunt Denise, Camille, Claire, and Zyra all arrived at around 12:30am Friday night/Saturday morning. We didn't do much, but we did play Wii, watch TV, take photos, eat BBQ, and just enjoy each others company. I know when I love someone's company because even if we are just sitting side-by-side in silence, their presence is enough.  I thank God for my amazing (and a little dorky) family!

New Beginnings

Yesterday was a very bad day for me. It was my low point, and it will be my low point. I thought it was about time for me to step up to this "project".  Not that I think this blog will save my soul, but because this is a record of my life, I can look at it and get encouragement from myself. Because I am my biggest obstacle and I need to see that I will actually follow through. I gotta pray for renewed strength and I hope you will, too. Here I go, new beginnings.
