Flashback Friday

I was reading through my mom's devotional book: "Hearing from God each Morning" by Joyce Meyer when I came across one devotional that spoke to my affinity and inspiration for photography. January 5, "God is not Hiding" is about the visual beauty of the world as it pertains to our relationship with God.
Here's an excerpt: 'He speaks to everyone through His handiwork and nature itself testifies of His power and plans... The main thing He says to us through nature is that He truly exists. He tries to reach us every day and He leaves clues about Himself everywhere, clues that say, "I am here! You don't have to worry or be afraid. I am here." '
This really spoke to me and affirmed my interest in photography. The simplest but most beautiful concept that every human being has the opportunity to know God (through nature) is why photos matter to me. I want to capture stills of life, moments that will never occur again, in the hopes that someone else will catch on to this.

I tend to look at the world around me like this. (Photo edit)
